Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) invites applications from qualified medical professionals for the positions of Physician-Instructors in the Department of Clinical Disciplines, Faculty of Medicine.
Available Positions
  • Phthisiatrician (Physician-Instructor)
  • General Surgeon (Physician-Instructor)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver theoretical and practical teaching sessions in accordance with approved curricula and academic programmes
  • Develop students' clinical reasoning, professional knowledge, and practical competencies
  • Prepare, review, and update teaching materials, course syllabi, and assessment instruments

  • Conduct objective assessments of students' knowledge, clinical skills, and professional competencies

  • Implement modern, interactive, and clinically oriented teaching methodologies
  • Maintain academic documentation, including electronic attendance and assessment records, in accordance with institutional procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the educational legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, applicable state educational standards, and the University's internal regulations
  • Uphold academic integrity, professional ethics, and institutional quality management standards.
Qualification Requirements:
  1. A recognised higher medical education degree;
  2. Relevant specialist training and a valid professional specialist certificate in the respective field;
  3. A minimum of one year of professional experience in the relevant medical specialty;
  4. Ability to communicate clinical knowledge clearly and effectively using evidence-based approaches;
  5. Knowledge of fundamental pedagogical principles and contemporary medical education methodologies;
  6. Proficiency in English will be considered an advantage;
  7. Strong professional ethics, responsibility, organisational skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
