Academic Integrity and Ethics Codes
Academic integrity is a fundamental principle of the educational and scientific activities of our university. We build education, research, and management on the values of honesty, responsibility, and respect, fostering a culture of trust and fair assessment of the results of each member of the academic community.
Goals of the Academic Integrity and Ethics Policy
ensuring objective and transparent assessment of students' knowledge;
developing stable ethical norms in studies, science, and professional activities among students and faculty;
preventing violations (plagiarism, cheating, data falsification, document forgery, etc.);
strengthening the university's reputation as a responsible and reliable partner in the national and international educational space.
Core Principles of Academic Integrity
Honesty – independent completion of academic and scientific work, inadmissibility of plagiarism and any forms of deception.
Responsibility – personal accountability for one's decisions, work results, and compliance with university rules.
Fairness – uniform and transparent assessment criteria, inadmissibility of favoritism and discrimination.
Respect – respectful attitude towards the rights, dignity, and intellectual property of others.
Transparency – clear procedures for assessment, appeals, and consideration of violations.
University Ethics Codes
Code of Academic Integrity for Students – defines requirements for completing assignments, taking exams, preparing scientific and written works, as well as types of violations and possible consequences.
Code of Professional Ethics for Faculty – establishes norms of pedagogical, scientific, and official ethics, including requirements for objectivity in assessment, prevention of conflict of interest, and respectful attitude towards students and colleagues.
Code of Ethics for Administrative and Management Staff – enshrines the principles of official ethics, openness, prevention of abuse of authority, and corrupt practices.
Responsibility and Procedures
Violations of academic integrity and ethical norms are considered according to established procedures by relevant university commissions and bodies. Decisions are made based on transparent procedures, adhering to the principles of fairness, confidentiality, and the right to appeal.
The university systematically conducts informational and educational events, training, and consultations on academic integrity and ethics, supporting a culture of conscientious learning and honest scientific work.
