Scientific activity is an integral part of the mission of Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) and represents a key component of the educational process. The coordination of scientific activity at JAIU is carried out by the Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Social Work, as well as by the dean’s offices and departments. Each structural unit develops its own research plan approved by the Academic Council of the university. The work is conducted within internal and external grant projects, as well as in cooperation with scientific centers and universities of Kyrgyzstan and other countries.

This journal serves as a platform for sharing experience and disseminating advanced knowledge in the fields of medical and humanitarian sciences.

JAIU provides financial support to its staff for publishing in international scientific journals, which contributes to enhancing their scientific qualifications and strengthening the university’s reputation on the global stage.

To develop a research culture and improve the qualifications of faculty members, the university regularly conducts scientific and educational events, including:

• scientific conferences and symposiums — for presenting research results and sharing experience;
• seminars and academic schools — to enhance methodological and publication activity;
• master classes and lectures with participation of national and international experts aimed at developing modern competencies among teachers and students;
• trainings and courses for medical workers on current issues of diagnostics, digital technologies, and innovative treatment methods.

JAIU pays special attention to involving students and young scientists in research activities. The best works receive support in the form of grants, scientific consultations, and publications in the university journal.
