Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) welcomed an official delegation from the Republic of Korea as part of a visit to the university clinic Shifa International Hospital. The purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for expanding international cooperation in the fields of healthcare and medical education.The delegation was received by the Rector of JAIU, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, and the Director of Shifa International Hospital. The university and clinic management presented a comprehensive overview of the clinic’s development strategy, its role as a training base for medical professionals, and the organization of clinical education for students.During the meeting, the parties held a constructive exchange of views on potential areas of cooperation, including academic and clinical mobility for doctors and students, implementation of joint educational programs, as well as partnership in hospital development and technical modernization.Both sides expressed their readiness to establish a long-term partnership aimed at improving the quality of medical services, advancing research activities, and strengthening the capacity of medical education.The visit highlights JAIU’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and integrating advanced international experience into the medical education and healthcare system.
