Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Natural Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences Venera Erkinbekovna Anarbekova took part in the international scientific conference “Dialogue of Civilizations: On the Terraces of the Great Silk Road”, held on June 6, 2026, in the Sokh District of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The conference was dedicated to the study of the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Central Asia, intercivilizational relations, and cultural interactions. In her scientific article, “Oral History of the Chatkal Valley” Venera Erkinbekovna analyzed ethnographic field materials collected in the Chatkal Valley, the specific features of the koshok genre, and the historical and ethnographic significance of the dastan “Munduk-Zarlyk” as narrated by Kachkanak Salibaev.
Venera Erkinbekovna also served as moderator of the first section of the conference, which focused on “Historical Heritage, Intercivilizational Dialogue, and Cultural Synthesis”. As a result of the scientific forum, she was awarded a medal by the Sokh District Branch of the Turan Academy of Sciences for her contribution to the development of science. Participation in this international conference marked an important step in strengthening the university’s international scientific cooperation, as well as in promoting the historical, spiritual, and ethnographic heritage of the Kyrgyz people within the academic community.
