Basic qualification requirements

Applicants must have an appropriate higher professional education and pedagogical, scientific, clinical and/or practical training relevant to the disciplines they intend to teach.

Preference for Professor and Associate Professor positions will be given to applicants who hold an academic degree and/or academic title, have scientific publications, experience in developing teaching and methodological materials, and proficiency in modern educational, digital and interactive teaching technologies.

Applicants for Senior Lecturer, Lecturer and Assistant positions must have qualifications relevant to the disciplines and possess pedagogical, scientific, clinical or practical professional experience.

Applicants for clinical disciplines must have specialized medical education, an appropriate specialization and practical experience in the relevant field.

Applicants seeking to teach disciplines in English must hold a valid Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) certificate with a score exceeding the minimum threshold established by the authorized state education authority of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Other international certificates confirming English-language proficiency may be considered by the university competition committee when they are officially recognized as equivalent to TOEFL under the applicable regulatory requirements.

The assignment of specific disciplines to an applicant will be determined based on their basic education, specialty, academic degree, academic title, professional experience, proficiency in the language of instruction and compliance with the established qualification requirements.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. an application addressed to the Rector;
2. a copy of an identity document;
3. copies of educational qualifications and diplomas;
4. copies of documents confirming an academic degree and/or academic title, as well as a document confirming completion of medical residency, where applicable;
5. a curriculum vitae;
6. a list of scientific, academic and teaching-methodological works, where applicable;
7. documents confirming pedagogical, scientific, clinical and professional experience;
8. a TOEFL certificate or another international certificate confirming English-language proficiency for applicants seeking to teach disciplines in English;
9. other documents required by the university’s internal regulations.
