Today, on 5 December 2025, Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) hosted a round table on the theme “Celebrating the work and heroic deeds of the founding fathers of modern Kyrgyz statehood”, where the participants discussed the contribution of these founders to the establishment of Kyrgyz statehood. The event was organized within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 24 June 2024 No. 205 “On the founding fathers of modern Kyrgyz statehood (Abdykerim Sydykov, Imanaly Aidarbekov, Jusup Abdrakhmanov, Abdykadyr Orozbekov, Ishenaly Arabayev, Kasym Tynystanov).”

The round table was organized by the Department of Humanities and Natural Sciences. During the discussion, the participants emphasized the importance of a profound scholarly and educational understanding of the life paths and state-political activities of the founders of Kyrgyz statehood, as well as their role in shaping national self-consciousness and the patriotic upbringing of the younger generation.

Following the results of the work, a resolution was adopted recommending the active integration of materials on these founding figures into the educational programmes of such disciplines as “History of Kyrgyzstan” and “Kyrgyz Language”, as well as the regular organization of scientific and practical round tables and student conferences.
