As part of an international cooperation agreement, physician-faculty members from Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU), Akramzhanov Akmal Tazhidinovich and Turgunova Muattar Sardarbekovna, have begun a professional internship at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, part of the Max Healthcare network.
BLK-Max is one of India’s leading multidisciplinary centers for highly specialized medical care. The hospital has a capacity of 650 beds, including 162 specialized intensive care beds, and is equipped with 20 modular operating theaters and state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical facilities.
Of particular importance to the university is BLK-Max’s advanced transplant program. The hospital operates a Liver Transplant Center, a Center for Renal Diseases and Kidney Transplantation, and a Center for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
The internship of JAIU specialists represents one of the first practical steps toward developing local expertise in transplantation medicine in the Jalal-Abad region. Particular emphasis is being placed on studying modern approaches to pre-transplant patient preparation, principles of recipient management, post-operative and post-transplant monitoring, complication prevention, and the organization of long-term patient care.
The knowledge and experience gained during the internship will contribute to the systematic training of specialists and the development of competencies in transplantation and post-transplant patient management in the Jalal-Abad region. It will also support the further expansion of cooperation between Jalal-Abad International University and leading medical centers in India.
This initiative marks an important step toward the development of high-tech medical care, the training of highly qualified local specialists, and the creation of new opportunities for patients in the Jalal-Abad region.
