Faculty of Medicine – First Graduating Batch: January 2026 and Subsequent Cohorts

Dear Final-Year Students and Future Graduates,

Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) is fully committed to your long-term success and professional growth even after you leave our campus. The Rectorate, Faculty of Medicine, and International Relations Department have developed this integrated plan to provide seamless academic, administrative, career, and lifelong alumni support. Our aim is to make your transition from student to licensed medical practitioner as smooth and successful as possible, while keeping you connected to your alma mater forever.

1. Graduation Pathways

Upon successful completion of the MD programme, graduates have two fully supported options:

Option A – Clinical Practice in the Kyrgyz Republic
  • Allocation to full clinical internship (internatura) in affiliated hospitals in Jalal-Abad, Osh, and Bishkek
  • Priority placement and assistance with all documentation
  • Pathway to postgraduate residency programmes in Kyrgyzstan
Option B – Return to Home Country
  • Full support for degree recognition and national licensing examinations in India (FMGE/NExT), Pakistan (NLE/PMC), Bangladesh (BMDC), Nepal (NMC), Sri Lanka (SLMC), Maldives, and other countries

2. Academic & Examination Preparation Support (Free of Charge)

  • Intensive on-campus FMGE, NLE/PMC, and USMLE preparation programmes
  • Regular visits by renowned professors and top-rank holders from India, Pakistan, and other countries
  • Full-length mock examinations under real exam conditions
  • Dedicated “Graduation-Year Preparation Wing” operating November–June annually

3. Document Legalization & Apostille Service (Free of Charge)

Within 10 days of the graduation ceremony:

  • Complete document package (diploma, supplement, transcript, certificates, recommendation letters)
  • Attestation by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic
  • Hague Apostille through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Direct coordination with embassies when additional legalization is required

4. Career Development & Employment Assistance

  • Personalized recommendation letters from the Rector, Dean, and clinical supervisors
  • Direct verification support for medical councils and employers worldwide
  • Job placement assistance in Kyrgyzstan, Gulf countries, Maldives, and Central Asia
  • Lifetime career guidance from the International Relations Department

5. Lifelong Alumni Engagement – “JAIU Global Medical Alumni Family”

Every graduate automatically becomes a lifetime member of the JAIU Global Medical Alumni Association.

a) Monthly Online Motivation & Experience-Sharing Sessions
  • Every second Saturday via official JAIU Zoom
  • Alumni share FMGE/NLE success stories, residency experiences, clinical cases, and life advice
  • Open to all current students
b) Structured Mentorship Programme
  • One-to-one and small-group mentoring (FMGE strategy, PG entrance, CV building, research guidance, career planning)
  • Alumni register via the upcoming JAIU Alumni Portal (launch: January 2026)
  • Active mentors receive the official “JAIU Distinguished Alumni Mentor” certificate and award
c) Annual Alumni Reunion & Scientific Conference
  • First major event: January 2027 (Jalal-Abad/Bishkek)
  • Subsequent events every January with partial/full sponsorship for selected speakers
  • Scientific sessions, cultural programme, and campus family tour
d) On-Campus Guest Lecturer Series
  • Outstanding alumni invited (travel & accommodation supported when possible) to teach and inspire current students

6. Timeline – First Batch (January 2026 Graduates)

  • Nov–Dec 2025 → Intensive preparation courses & mock exams
  • 05–10 Feb 2026 → Official Graduation Ceremony
  • 21–30 Feb 2026 → Full document package with apostille handed over
  • March 2026 onwards → First alumni begin mentoring juniors via monthly Zoom sessions
