JAIU Held an Event in Honor of India’s Independence Day
January 26, 2026Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU) was honored to welcome Dr. Rajiv Dhawan, renowned Professor of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), to its campus as a distinguished academic guest.
Dr. Dhawan visited JAIU upon the official invitation of the university to conduct a one-week academic lecture series for medical students. During his visit, he engaged in a fruitful meeting with the university administration and faculty members, where there was an in-depth exchange of ideas focused on quality medical education, curriculum development, and international academic standards.
A key area of discussion was the preparation of Indian medical students for the NEXT and FMGE examinations. Dr. Dhawan shared valuable insights on aligning teaching methodologies with current examination patterns, clinical competence, and evidence-based learning approaches required for success in these competitive licensing examinations.
Dr. Dhawan expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for JAIU’s integrated curriculum, highlighting that the clinical and theoretical teaching components are well-coordinated and aligned with Indian medical education standards. He commended JAIU for its student-centered approach and emphasis on early clinical exposure.
The university leadership reaffirmed JAIU’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards, strengthening international collaborations, and continuously upgrading its medical curriculum to meet global and Indian regulatory expectations.
