At Jalal-Abad International University (JAIU), the admission process for foreign students is carefully structured to be clear, supportive, and tailored to international applicants. Below is the general process, eligibility criteria, and how JAIU collaborates with WCIEC (World Choice International Educational Consultant) to facilitate admission.

Admission Process & Requirements

Eligibility & Basic Requirements International students applying to JAIU’s Medical Faculty (MD, equivalent to MBBS) must fulfill several requirements: a high school diploma (or equivalent), transcripts, proof of English proficiency, passport copy, and a medical fitness certificate.

The university specifies two admission cycles: Fall Semester (deadline September 1) and Spring Semester (deadline December 1) for applying.

International applicants are required to submit:

  • Completed application form
  • High school certificate / diploma
  • Transcripts from previous education institutions
  • Passport copy

Application Submission

  • Applicants submit their documents through the online application form on the official JAIU admissions page or our official partners.
  • Once documents are uploaded, candidates may need to pay an application fee and possibly attend an interview and entrance exam.

Admission Decision & Offer

After document review and any necessary interviews or tests, JAIU issues an Admission Decision. Successful candidates will receive an Admission / Offer Letter.

Visa & Arrival

International students, once accepted, need to initiate the visa process. To support this, JAIU collaborates with WCIEC Organization, which helps students with visa applications, invitation letters, and other immigration-related procedures.

Students should also budget for living costs, insurance, and other expenses. WCIEC provides support in estimating and planning these costs.

Enrollment & Orientation

After arrival, students register at JAIU, complete any necessary bureaucratic steps (residency permit, registration), and attend orientation. WCIEC helps coordinate these steps, ensuring students settle in smoothly.

Support During Study

International students at JAIU benefit from dedicated support services: WCIEC remains a point of contact even after admission, helping with accommodation, ongoing visa matters, and general student welfare. JAIU itself also provides student facilities such as separate hostels, food services, and access to its libraries.
