Information for Applicants to JAMU

Jeti-Ögüz International University (JAMU) welcomes prospective students and provides full information about the admission process for 2025.

Our university offers modern educational programs, qualified instructors, and excellent learning conditions.

To apply, applicants must familiarize themselves with the admission rules, prepare the required documents, and successfully pass the entrance exams.

Admissions Office

Working hours: Mon–Sat: 8:00–18:00

The Admissions Office provides consultations for applicants, accepts documents, and organizes entrance exams.

Who Can Apply

  • Applicants who are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, seeking a state educational grant (hereinafter referred to as “grant”).
  • Applicants who are foreign nationals, seeking a grant based on international agreements effective under the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
  • Applicants who are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic or foreign nationals applying for higher professional education programs under tuition payment agreements with legal and/or private individuals (hereinafter referred to as “fee-paying agreements”), regardless of the organizational-legal forms (ownership or institutional affiliation) of educational institutions.

Main Admission Periods

  • Summer intake: from July 1 to August 25.
  • Winter intake: from December 20 to February 15.
  • For foreign applicants:
    • The admission process for international students (from distant countries) will be conducted online via the official WCIEC Studyzone application.
    • In accordance with the schedule established by the university’s Admissions Office.

For Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic

  • Application addressed to the Rector of JAMU
  • Original ORT certificate (for full-time programs)
  • Certificate of Secondary Education or Diploma
  • 2 photos (4x6 cm), 4 photos (3x4 cm)
  • Digital photo
  • Medical certificate 086-U
  • Military ID or conscription certificate
  • Receipt for document processing fee
  • Copy of passport or ID card
  • Education contract (fee-based agreement)
  • Three-party state-funded contract
  • Grant-based agreement
  • Document processing fee (applicant folder)

For Citizens of the Near Abroad

  • Application addressed to the Rector of JAMU
  • Certificate of Secondary Education
  • Equivalency certificate (except for Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan)
  • 2 photos (4x6 cm), 4 photos (3x4 cm)
  • Digital photo
  • Copy of passport or ID card
  • Receipt for document processing fee
  • Medical certificate 086-U
  • Military ID or conscription certificate
  • Certificate of residence
  • Medical insurance policy (12 months)
  • Fee-based education agreement
  • Document processing fee (applicant folder)

For Citizens of the Far Abroad

  • Application addressed to the Rector
  • Passport with visa and copy
  • Secondary education document + notarized copy
  • Notarized translation
  • Diploma for postgraduate studies
  • NEET results (for India)
  • Equivalency certificate
  • 6 photos (4x6 cm)
  • HIV, hepatitis, malaria test results
  • Receipt for document processing fee
  • Additional documents as required
  • Medical insurance policy (12 months)

Contract Fee Discounts:

For medical specialties:

  • Main test: 260–289 points - 25% discount
  • Main test: 280–299 points - 50% discount
  • Main test: 300–319 points - 75% discount
  • Main test: 320+ points - 100% discount

For 4-year programs:

  • Main test: 140–149 points - 25% discount
  • Main test: 150–159 points - 50% discount
  • Main test: 160–169 points - 75% discount
  • Main test: 170+ points - 100% discount

For Contract-Based Admission:

For medical specialties:

  • Main test: 110 points

For 4-year programs:

  • Main test: 110 points

Schedule of Selection Rounds and Enrollment

1st selection round: August 1–5, 2025

2nd selection round: August 8–12, 2025

3rd selection round: August 15–19, 2025

Enrollment: August 22–25, 2025

Results of each round will be published on the university’s official website within 2 business days.

  • IELTS/TOEFL certificate
  • Medical certificate
  • Certificate of no criminal record

Entrance Exam Schedule

Exams (testing):

  • August 13 – Russian language, Chemistry, Biology
  • August 27 – Russian language, Chemistry, Biology
  • September 10 – Russian language, Chemistry, Biology
  • September 24 – Russian language, Chemistry, Biology
  • October 8 – Russian language, Chemistry, Biology

Exam time: 09:00–12:00. Results will be announced the next day at 15:00.

For citizens of CIS and near-abroad countries:

Entrance exams: internal university exams in Biology, Chemistry, and Russian language.

Document submission deadline: by October 15, 2025.
